One of my must read blogs is the Phototshop disasters blog, I would say the majority of movie posters feature very obvious head swaps.
Spider-Man 2 has already been featured on the photoshop disasters site, being a fan of spidey, I downloaded the wallpapers of the official movie site when they first became available, here is the copy from my hard drive. If you look at the webbing on Spider-Man's suit where Mary Jane's hand is you can see it's misaligned. I only noticed it a few days after having as my desktop background, I went back to the site and the wallpaper was fixed.
This is a cool poster for the Obama campaign by Shepard Fairey. Banksy should do something similar for our elections, I'd imagine it would be something quite mokcing.
I have to admit the race between Obama and Clinton is quite interesting and Obama is certainly a charismatic character. I doubted if I would see a black US president in my lifetime. Will it happen this time ?
Obviously Fairey supports Obama and the posters he made to give away free for the campaign started to appear on ebay. Shame on those people, but not entirely unexpected in this world we live in.
This is an image for a design contest back in 2004 encouraging Americans to vote in the 2004 election. There are loads of cool posters from the competition here. I've been guilty of voter apathy too. I think we need a campaign to get us voting.
For me it's always the lesser of two evils. We don't the show biz like phenomena of America, no celebrities here will openly go out support the political parties they favour, probably none of them care too. Quite sad to think that other places which don't have the right to vote on anything.
